Dr. Irena Koneski is passionate about providing exceptional dental care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, with a philosophy of ensuring each individual experiences the highest standard of care for their individual situation. Dr Irena is committed to educating patients on the connection between their oral health and overall wellness. With her cheerful and friendly personality, patients are able to feel comfortable and truly cared for.
Having graduated from the Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Western Australia in 2019 before returning to her hometown of Melbourne, Dr Irena worked in a range of dental clinical settings from Monash Hospital to private practices across Melbourne. Prior to dentistry, Dr Irena worked as a pharmacist in the hospital, pharmaceutical industry and community pharmacy settings. This diverse clinical background allows her to provide patient care in a holistic way, addressing both aesthetic and oral health concerns.
Dr Irena ensures she has the most up-to-date clinical knowledge by regularly attending courses and utilises the latest technology in digital dentistry. She performs all aspects of general dentistry, with special interests in the fields of:
• Oral surgery and removal of wisdom teeth
• Dental implants
• Same-day CAD/CAM (CEREC) restorations
• Cosmetic dentistry
• Clenching and grinding management
• Clear aligners (Invisalign)
Outside of dentistry, Dr Irena loves spending time with her family and friends, going for walks in nature with her dog and trying different cuisines.
