What is a CEREC same day crown?

Traditional crowns are a great option in some cases but can take weeks to be made, leaving you with a temporary crown and having to come back for another appointment 2-3 weeks later.CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramic) are ceramic crowns designed and milled in the dental office and ready to be completed within a couple hours saving you from the hassle of a temporary and another appointment. CEREC crowns use Computer-Aided Design ( CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM ) for a great-fitting, long-lasting crown in a single visit.
